When it comes to camping gear, we’ve got the goods. All of our equipment is tried and tested by our own team in our high-tech lab, also known as a real-life campsite! We only supply equipment that we would use ourselves, so you can camp with the confidence that our equipment is going to perform as we say it will, and as you expect it to.

Sleep

  • A swag is a traditional Australian outdoor bed. It is like a large sleeping bag, but it is made from canvas and contains all your bedding.

    Our envelope-style swags come kitted out with the following items:

    • Deluxe sleeping bag with a comfort rating of between -2 to -5 degrees Celsius. Double swags include two zip-together deluxe sleeping bags.

    • Pillow with pillow case

    • Fitted sheet

    • Wool blanket (included from April to October)

    • Foam mattress - approximately 50mm thick

    • Swag mat

  • Made from 65% wool and 35% fibre. Wool blankets are provided free of charge in the winter months when a swag with bedding is hired.

  • Quick-rise, open cell, self-inflating mat. A self-inflating mat is the best option when vehicle space is limited.

  • The 2 person insect tent is the perfect way to stargaze from the comfort of your swag without the worry of insects. Easy setup with no middle pole. Suitable for a single or double swag.

    Includes waterproof outer layer for optional use, hammer and pegs.

      Suitable for a single or king single swag.

    • 3 person tent sleeping area:

      Suitable for a single with luggage, king single or double swag.

  • Our 4 and 6 person tents are easy to setup and have no centre pole. Includes hammer and pegs.

    • 4 person tent sleeping area:

    Suitable for 2 people with room for luggage, or 3 people.

    • 6 person tent sleeping area:
      L320cm x W260cm x H190cm

Cook

  • Catered to your group size

    Includes:

    • Cutlery: forks, knives, table spoons and tea spoons

    • Dinnerware: mugs, plates and bowls

    • Utensils: chef knife, BBQ tongs, BBQ spatula, large serving spoon, vegetable peeler and can opener

    • chopping board, stainless steel salad bowl, 2L enamel kettle, 3L enamel billy / cooking pot

    • dish washing bowl x 2, bio-degradable dish washing liquid, dish sponge and tea towels

    • hand washing bucket, hand washing liquid and hand towel

    • matches, paper towel, tin foil and bio-degradable garbage bags

    All items in the kitchen kit are packed into a container for easy transportation.

    Note: each tub can cater for up to 5 people. Depending on your group size, an additional tub may be required.

  • Compact, single burner butane stove with inbuilt ignition. This stove is easy to transport with its handy carry case.

    We provide two options for stoves depending on how they will be used:

    1. Butane stove for hire: to be used for hot water only (not for cooking). A hired stove includes 1 butane canister for every 2 days hire.

    2. Butane stove for purchase: suitable for those that intend to use a stove for cooking. Butane canisters are available for purchase when making your booking and are also available at various locations in Alice Springs.

  • A camp oven is the traditional way to cook on a fire, placing coals underneath and on top of the oven. Perfect for damper, casseroles and roasts.

    Includes: handling hooks & heat-resistant gloves.

    Available in 9 quart size.

  • Wake up your friends and family with the smell of breakfast sizzling on the open fire. This over-fire BBQ plate allows you to cook an entire meal on an open flame.

    Includes: steel scrubber for easy cleaning, carry bag, and handling hooks to manoeuvre the BBQ plate safely when hot.

Essentials

  • An esky is essential for all camping trips to keep food and drinks cool.

  • Full backing with armrests and have a weight limit of 120kg.

  • Solid and sturdy, yet folds in half for a compact fit in the car, a 4ft bi-fold trestle table is essential for your campsite.

  • Carry all the clean water you need for your journey. Recommended when camping in the East and West MacDonnell Ranges.

  • A table lantern is a must-have to illuminate the campsite table at night, or to hang in your tent. The lantern has 3 light modes and a low-voltage mozzie zapper. Recharge the lantern via USB from compatible vehicles and power banks.

  • See where you’re going and what you’re doing at night with a handy head lamp. Includes a AA battery (fitted).

  • A short-handled shovel is an essential tool for bush camping, campfire cooking and off-road adventures.

  • Feel prepared with this first aid kit, for almost any minor injury. All contents kept in a sturdy, lightweight carry bag. The kit includes items such as adhesive strips, bandages, dressings, wipes, gloves, scissors, safety pins and more.
